[edit] General formatting
On every page, the first instance of the page name should be bold. This can be done by using the wiki markup to make the word bold: '''Help:Formatting'''. It can also be done by linking to the page itself, which automatically makes it bold: [[Help:Formatting]]. Either method is acceptable.
[edit] Article names
Article naming convention is to use regular sentence case, which is the capitalization of the first word and any other proper nouns. The exception to this is if the name is used officially, such as in a quest, character name, or event, then it should be formatted the same way it is used.
For example, "They Are Coming Back" was the official name used by Funcom in a thread title, however "Something in the static" was the name given to an event by the community, and has no proper nouns in it. Therefore, aside from the first word, it's lowercase. The reason for this is due to the fact that MediaWiki's search is case-sensitive. Using mostly lowercase helps limit the need for redirects and helps bring people to pages faster.
Concerning pages named after in-game items, please name the article exactly how the item is presented either in-game or in promotional material. This will help those looking for specific items find them quicker and allow for a form of continuity between game and wiki.
[edit] Headings
Section headings should use regular sentence case. This means that the first word is capitalized and after that, only words that are proper nouns need to be capitalized. They must be unique within the page and they should not include links.

When linking to another page, only the first instance of that page needs to be linked to. Other mentions of the same page should not be linked to unless it would help the reader in the situation. These situations include the last mention of the link being well before another, or in a different section entirely such as an image caption.

When commenting on a talk page, always leave your signature by typing --~~~~ or pressing the signature button above the text box.
